Popular Ghanaian media personality, Captain Smart, has stirred controversy online, with his recent remarks on men financing their partners’ education.
Speaking in a recent episode of his show on Onua TV, he strongly criticized men who pays school fees for women they are in relationships with.
According to Captain Smart no matter how much a man loves a woman, It is unwise to sponsor her education.
He asserted that such act is senseless and often leads to heartbreaks, as the woman may leave the man once she finds someone better or truly loves another.
“Any man who pays a lady school fees is a fool”, he declared, adding that men who engage in such acts should understand the risk involved.
He claimed that many men have suffered rejection and heartbreak after funding a woman’s education, only for her to abandon them for another man.
His statement has sparked reactions from the public, with some agreeing with his viewpoint, while others believe that supporting a partner’s education is a act of love and investment in future.
