
A Ghanaian Pastor, Apostle Yanick Aka, has sparked controversy online after declaring that wearing used or second-hand clothes is a sin.
In a post shared on his official Facebook page, Apostle Aka listed several sins he believes people unknowing commit.
Among them, he highlighted the wearing of second-hand clothing as a spiritual transgression.
According to him, It is essential for individuals to be the first to wear any clothing they put on, as used clothes supposedly carry spiritual consequences.
He further claim claimed that wearing second-hand clothes can transfer demonic influences into one’s life.
“Wearing used or second-hand clothes is a sin and transfers demons into your life”, he wrote.
His statement has generated mixed reactions, with many questioning the biblical or theological basis for his claim.
While some supported his perspective, other dismissed it as unfound and unrealistic, especially in economies where second-hand clothing is a necessity for many, especially in the current economic realities.
However, as the debate continues online, Apostle Aka had yet to provide biblical backing for his assertion.
