The All Progressive Congress, APC Stakeholders has in totality of agreement endorse Imo state governor, Hope Uzodinma for a second term.
The agreement was made during a stakeholders meeting at the the All Progressive Congress (APC) party secretariat meeting where party’s leaders, ward Chairmen, women leaders were present in their good numbers as reported by 9News Nigeria.
However, in a remarkable turn of events, the All Progressive Congress (APC) Stakeholders in Imo State has endorsed Governor Hope Uzodinma for a second term in office having x-rayed his quality leadership in the state since his inception as State Governor.
While speaking, the state’s party Chairman, Hon. McDonald Ebere, PhD, lauded the Governor for his outstanding performances and political willpower to change the narrative of leadership and statesmanship for the benefit of Ndi Imo, making the party proud.
On behalf of the Party’s National working committee, APC National vice chairman, South East, Ijeoma Arodiogbu, stated that Governor Hope Uzodinma has represented strength and the general acceptance of the party’s leadership.
In response, Governor Uzodinma promised a democratic and peaceful Guber election in Imo State while expressing his gratitude to the leadership of the Party.
The motion for the re-election of the Governor was moved by the incumbent House of Representative member for Okigwe South, Rt. Hon Chike Okafor as the visionary leader with passion for service to humanity.
Seconded by a former senatorial candidate for Owerri Zone, Chief Jerry Chukwueke who praised the Governor for his courage to move the state forward.
On this development therefore, APC has presented the incumbent governor of Imo state, Hope Uzodinma to hoist the party flag against other Guber rivals from various Political parties in Imo state.
The statistic we have on our News desk proves that at press time, the incumbent governor Uzodinma tops the lead of Governorship candidates so far released to contest with him as scheduled by INEC.
