The Borno State Agency for the Great Green Wall has teamed up with CATAI and ActionAid Denmark to tackle climate change, global warming, and desertification in the state.
A high-level delegation from the Centre for Advocacy, Transparency and Accountability Initiative and its international partner, ActionAid Denmark, visited the agency’s headquarters in Anguwan Doki, Maiduguri.
The Director General of BOAGGW, Ambassador Usman Aliyu, received the team and led talks on Borno’s urgent ecological challenges.
The discussions focused on environmental sustainability, land restoration, climate resilience, and community development.

Ambassador Aliyu said working with reputable national and international NGOs is key to achieving the agency’s goals.
He added that the expertise and resources from CATAI and ActionAid Denmark will strengthen efforts to build a more resilient environment.
He thanked both organizations for their visit and shared vision.
BOAGGW said it remains committed to partnerships that will create a greener, healthier, and more sustainable future for Borno communities.
