Boss Mustapha visits Imo State, advises Imo people to take COVID-19 vaccine [Photos]

In a post made public in Gov. Hope Uzodimma official Facebook page monitored by 9news Nigeria, the Imo State Governor unveiled the whole content of the Secretary to Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha visit to Imo State.

The governor post read:

“We received Mr. Boss Mustapha, the Secretary to the government of the Federation (SGF) and chairman, Presidential Taskforce on Covid-19. He was in the State on a working visit”.

“We had ample time to review the effectiveness of all the precautionary measures initiated in Imo against the spread of the Covid-19 disease”.

“The SGF seized the opportunity of the press briefing to appeal to Nigerians and Ndị Imo, in particular, to accept the covid-19 vaccine and reject all the conspiracy theories flying around which are all aimed at instilling unnecessary fear in people against its application”.

“The administration of the AstraZeneca Oxford Vaccine which has been approved by NAFDAC for use in Nigeria against Covid-19 will soon commence in the interest of Nigerians”.

“The vaccination has become very necessary since it’s now obvious that the covid-19 is not likely to end anytime soon”.

“The SGF also noted with delight all the visible infrastructural development ongoing in Imo State in the last one year and encouraged us further”.

“I extend my appreciation to President Muhammadu Buhari for all the support he has extended to us anytime we sought his intervention”.
