Following the high trend of rape all over the state of the federation and mostly at the rural areas, an NGO, Society for Safe Motherhood SOSAM has brought the remedy to checkmate rapists and save rape victims from the point of perceived incident.
Dr.Joyce Kalu from Abia State, a Medical Doctor and the CEO of Society for Safe Motherhood SOSAM has made this classic revelation to 9News Nigeria.
According to Dr Joyce, the device is for every woman in Nigeria, considering the rate of rape cases in the country.
She however pointed out that it is alarming and SOSAM intend to curb the excesses of this criminals, by alerting the security as soon as any woman is in danger or is victimized.
The device according to her, is highly sensitive and working very effectively’

She added that this device is an invention from SOSAM partners in China to stop Rape in Nigeria.
