Senator Chimaraoke Nnamani has described the reign of former Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi as “worst governance that has happened to the people of Enugu State Nigeria” as reported by 9News Nigeria.
The Enugu East Senator stated that Former Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi failure to continue as governor is the best thing that has happened to Enugu State politically.
Nnamani has therefore requested that Enugu people support the present Governor, Dr Peter Mbah to improve the State accordingly.
He harboured no doubt that Dr Mbah will do far better than his successor gburugburu Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, who he described as a total darkness to Enugu State.
In his words, Senator Nnamani said this year 2023 is a political year like none other. The only ray of hope being the exit of Ifeanyi Nwa Ugwuanyi.
“A wobbling fatso, that I introduced to politics via the House of Representatives in 2003. Paraphrasing the sage Okadigbo, “bumbling unsure jelly like mass of protoplasm” A struggling Insurance salesman in Trans-Ekulu, Enugu.
That year 2003, I sent him to HOR via Express delivery, all expenses paid. Bought his form, sponsored all his campaign and paid all his legal fees and guaranteed his second term. All done unsolicited!
Twenty years later, 2023 election, he personally selected all my agents. Arranged my suspension and expulsion from PDP. Despite loosing his polling booth twice, back to back while “sitting ” as governor in Enugu. Gburus personally made calls supervising sabotage of my election. Voting PDP for Governor and Labour for Senate. 8 years, he delivered ZILCH.
Roads zero!Water zero Health zero!Education zero.”Dirty” everywhere! 2 terms/8 years the Presidency commissioned ZERO!
My Ex-governor escaped without A SINGLE press conference or media tête-à-tête in 8 years.He danced while Igbo Land burnt.
He lacked the ‘liver’ to condemn ‘sit at home’/Home lockdown nor condemn the killings. His governmental incompetence festered the angst and social burn!

The political war lord from Nkanu Enugu State also bragged about his serious involvements in making the Governors of Enugu State after him.
This included Governors Sullivan Chime, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi and Peter Mbah who is presently the serving Governor of Enugu State.
Meanwhile, Dr Peter Mbah has pledged programmes and policies that would accelerate the growth and development of the state and creating enabling environment for business growth and welfare of Ndi Enugu in general.
It may interest you to note that Sullivan Chime was two times governor of Enugu State from 2007 to 2011 and from 2011-2015.
Lawrence Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi CON is a Nigerian politician who also served as Governor of Enugu State from 2015 to 2023. Recall that before these duo became governor, Hon Dr, Chimaraoke Nnamani was elected Governor of Enugu State from 1999- 2007.
Senator Nnamani is likened to a political godfather to many leaders in the state, a Medical doctor and Nigerian politician from Enugu State.
