Tension In Delta As Unkown Gunmen Invades Ojobo, Kidnaps Resident Doctor

According to reports reaching the news desk of 9News Nigeria, the resident Doctor in the Ojobo Central Hospital, Oporomo Kingdom, Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State was at about 11:30 pm last night kidnapped and whisked away by unknown gunmen.

A source who hinted The 9News Nigeria but would not want his name to be mentioned in print noted that there is tension in the area following the abduction of the resident Doctor, Dr, Iboyitete wisdom O.

According our source, Dr, Iboyitete wisdom O, resident Doctor of the Ojobo central hospital has been rendering his services meritoriously attending to the health issues of the people without having issue with anyone, stressing that he has been serving the community for the past five (5) years .

The source wondered on why would anyone or group of people would want to abduct a harmless personality like Dr, Iboyitete wisdom O.

While narrating the ordeal, the source stated that the resident Doctor was with the newly elected Ojobo Community Chairman over his recent victory last night when he got a call that there is an emergency case that he needs to attend to in the hospital.

The source continued that it was when the Doctor rushed down to the hospital in his bid to attend to the case that the unknown gunmen abducted him and shoots sporadically and whisked him away via the waterways.

It was further stated that the unknown heavily armed gunmen spoke Ijaw language before abducting the harmless medical Doctor, adding that they were eight (8) in numbers that came for the operation.

The 9News Nigeria can report that at the moment of filling this report, the whereabouts of Dr Wisdom Iboitete is still unknown.

Meanwhile, indigenes of Ojobo Community has appealed to the Delta State Governor, His Excellency, Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, the Delta State Police Command, Delta State Waterways/Land Security Committee, other security agencies and anyone that can be of help to swing into action by restoring the freedom of Dr Wisdom Iboitete.
