Federal Government of Nigeria has declared tomorrow Tuesday 15th , July , 2025 public holiday and in the same vein, directed for immediate opening of condolence registers across ministries, departments, agencies and diplomatic community to Honour the Late Fmr President Mohammadu Buhari GCFR.
In honour of the late President Muhammadu Buhari, President Bola Tinubu has directed all Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) to open condolence registers at the entrance of their respective offices for the public to pay their respects to the late Elder Statesman.
To honor former President Buhari, a central condolence register for the diplomatic community and the general public will be opened at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre, Abuja.
Meanwhile, the body of the late President Muhammadu Buhari is expected to arrive in Katsina at 12:00 noon tomorrow, with funeral according to Islamic rites scheduled to take place in his hometown of Daura by 2:00 PM on the same day as gathered by 9News Nigeria. This is against the earlier publication that Buhari’s Burial will take place Monday.
On this arrangements therefore, The Federal Government has declared seven days of National mourning and tomorrow, Tuesday, 15 July 2025, as a Public Holiday in honour of the late President Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR.
It is very pertinent to state that Nigeria has lost one of her best in policy making. Buhari is regarded as one of the most transparent and honest leaders in history. A former military head of state and a democratically elected president with remarkable standing. We miss Buhari! We miss a handsome man! We miss a leader!
