The Chief Judge of Kano State, Dije Abdu-Aboki, has sworn-in 30 newly appointed Sharia Court Judges in the state.
This was contained in a statement issued on Saturday April 18,2026, in Kano by the spokesperson of the Ministry of Justice, Baba Jibo Ibrahim.
He said the swearing-in ceremony marks an important step towards strengthening the administration of justice in the state.
Speaking at the event, Justice Abdu-Aboki congratulated the new judges and urged them to be God-fearing, while discharging their duties with honesty, fairness, and integrity.
In his remarks, the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice of Kano State, Abdulkareem Kabir-Maude (SAN),also congratulated the newly sworn-in judges, advising them to uphold ethical standards in the course of their duties.
He further stressed the need for courts to remain strong pillars of justice and peace in society, while reaffirming the state government’s commitment to supporting the judiciary.
