

The Coalition of Indigenous Muslims in Plateau State has strongly condemned the recent attack in Bokkos and Bassa Local Government Areas which resulted in the loss of innocent lives and properties worth millions of naira.
In a statement signed by leader of the group and Senior Special Assistant to the Executive Governor of Plateau State on Indigenous Muslims, Hajia Jamila Pam, they expressed deep condolences to the families of the victims and prayed for the quick recovery of the injured.
The Coalition described the attack as “senseless act of violence” and a “grave violation of human right to life”.
They demanded that the authorities take immediate and decisive action to investigate the incident, identify the perpetrators, and bring them to justice.
The group urged all stakeholders to work together to promote peace and stability in Plateau State, rejecting violence and promoting understanding and tolerance.
They also called on the government, humanitarian organizations, and well-meaning individuals to support and assistance to the victims and their families.
The Coalition of Indigenous Muslims Plateau State stood in solidarity with the people of Bokkos/Bassa LGAs and Plateau State as a whole during this challenging time, emphasizing “an injury to one is an injury to all”
