Speaking to reporters, Ronaldo expressed high hopes for the young talent, predicting a decorated career ahead.
“Lamine is going to win a lot of collective and individual titles. He’s a phenomenon,” Ronaldo said.
The Portuguese forward, who just won another UEFA Nations League, emphasized that Lamine is destined for greatness, particularly in international competitions.
“He’ll have a long career and he’s going to win a lot of Nations Leagues,” he added.
However, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner also took a moment to advocate for patience and protection for the teenage prodigy, urging the media and fans to ease the pressure.
