Earlier today at Ashaka, Ndokwa East Local government, The Coalition Of United Political Parties (CUPP) in Delta State, Ndokwa East Chapter, adopted Lucky Dikadi Chukwunedum Oghale as its sole candidate for the 2024 chairmanship election in Ndokwa East, coming up soon.

According to one of the party chairmen, Mr. Peter Ngozi who is the ADP party chairman and CUPP Chairman Ndokwa East chapter, the Ndokwa East local government area of Delta State has always been a hotbed of Politics, and this oil-rich local Government area, despite producing much of the oil in Delta State has not had its fair share of development in the state.

He said they have had some Political leaders like Chief Godswill Obielum who have been piloting the affairs of the local Government but they need some younger vibrant and creative people to join Chief Obielum in liberating the local government from political charlatans who have been holding the local Government hostage and misappropriating the opportunities available to the people.

Also speaking, Daniel Isioma, the ZLP Chairman party chairman and CUPP Secretary in Ndokwa East said the 2023 General elections provided them an opportunity to spot a new emerging leader in the person of Comrade Lucky Dikadi. Chukwunedum.

He said we recall that before this time Ndokwa East politics had been under the vice-grip of Hon. Friday Osanebi, a former Deputy Speaker of the Delta state House of Assembly representing the Ndokwa East state constituency and who later found his way to become the Deputy Governorship candidate of the APC in the 2023 Governorship election in Delta State.

It is remarkable that comrade Lucky Dikadi mobilized leaders and LGA party executives of APC and collapsed the APC structure in Ndokwa East before the 2023 general election and moved to the PDP thus liberating Ndokwa East from the political shackles of Friday Osanebi.

Some of the leaders who saw reasons and joined Dikadi in performing this feat were, Barrister Austin Ogbolu, Hon Ebifa Ijoma, Comrade Jude Ezimadu, and Comrade Obah Emmanuel. Others are Madam Elizabeth Olisa, Austin Chikodi, and remarkably Chief Tony Amaechi, one of the former major financiers of the APC in the local Government who dumped APC with his supporters.

The role played by Lucky Dikadi and other political stalwarts in dislodging the APC from the politics of Ndokwa East has endeared him to us.

Comrade Lucky Dikadi, a former Governorship candidate in the State and former Legislative Aide to the erstwhile Deputy Senate President in the National Assembly, Obarisi Ovie Omo-Agege is a trailblazer, pathfinder, political mobilizer, and motivational leader.

He is gainfully self-employed and not a hangers-on.

Lucky Dikadi, who holds an MSC in Cyber Security is a creative thinker, Political bulldozer, and Philanthropist from Inyi town, Ward 3, in Ndokwa East Local Government Area of the State.

According to the chairman of CUPP in Ndokwa East and his executives, the leaders of various Political leaders have weighed in on Lucky Dikadi’s antecedents and concluded that he is the best person to go for Chairmanship of Ndokwa East local government council, irrespective of their different Political inclinations and persuasions. He said this view was expressed and canvassed after due consultations with the Delta State Executives of CUPP.

Also speaking, Josephine Ifeoma, the ADC party Chairman and CUPP Women Leader in Ndokwa East, said we recall that Dikadi was groomed from the opposition political parties and we regard him as our leader irrespective of his moving his structure to PDP which scattered the evil plans of APC as a political party in Ndokwa East.

Speaking further, Mr. Ossai Bennett the spokesman of CUPP in Ndokwa East and APP political party chairman said, Lucky Dikadi’s transition from the APC to the PDP before the 2023 elections was highlighted as a strategic move that liberated Ndokwa East from political constraints. His ability to unite diverse political factions and garner widespread support has earned him admiration among party members and local leaders. Therefore, flowing with the statements highlighted by other political party chairmen in Ndokwa East, the under-listed Local Government CUPP executives of our different Political Parties hereby endorse Comrade Lucky Dikadi Chukwunedum Oghale as our consensus Chairmanship candidate for Ndokwa East LGA in the upcoming Local Government elections in the State.
