Senator Dino Melaye Loses his bid to return to the Senate under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP)
Senator Dino Melaye who represents Kogi West Senatorial District was defeated by member representing Kabba Bunu Ijumu Federal Constituency, Hon Tijjani Yusuf.
Dino said: ” The primary has been fought and won. I congratulate Hon. T.J. Yusuf and thank all those who voted in the first and second ballot for me

Tijjani Yusuf polled a total of 163 votes, while Dino Melaye scored 99 votes.
