Dr Onyeneke Admonish Nigerians Not To Allow The Current Economic Hardship Lure Them Into Doing Things That Will Ruin Their Existence

Federal Government have to open the Nation’s borders as an interim measure and possibly flood the states with essential commodities, as a deliberate effort to bring down the prices of goods.

Nigerians have been admonished not to allow the current economic hardship in the Country to force them into doing things that will ruin their existence.

Media Relations Consultant, Chief Dr Fidel Onyeneke gave the advice in Owerri on Wednesday while reacting to the looting of some Warehouses by certain individuals in parts of the Country.

Chief Onyeneke expressed worries that the hardship might lead some people into unwarranted acts which are capable of leading them to destruction and regrets.
He cautioned against mob actions and violence on the part of the masses,as a desperate effort to make ends means.

The former Special Adviser to Imo Governor on Imo Orientation Agency urged the people to look inwards, and exploit the available Agricultural resources within their environment, rather than engaging in stealing and other nefarious activities.

Chief Onyeneke regretted the situation where people killed and sold fellow human beings in order to make money, and described such acts as barbaric and ungodly.

He further called on the Federal Government to open the Nation’s borders as an interim measure and possibly flood the States with essential commodities, as a deliberate effort to bring down the prices of goods.

He urged the Commodity Price Control Agencies and other regulatory bodies ,to step up their duties in all the states, to save the masses from further exploitation.
Chief Onyeneke however appealed to the citizens to show more love to other individuals, while playing the role of their brothers’ keepers.

Onyeneke also called on Humanitarian and Religious Organizations to collaborate with the government,and come out with palliative measures that would drastically reduce the current Food crises across the Country.
