Public Speaker and Leader, Hon. Ike C. Ibe has extended warm Easter greetings to Nigerians, calling on citizens to embrace the true essence of the season; renewal, unity, and compassion.
In his Easter message on Sunday, the former Speaker of the Imo State House of Assembly and respected public figure described Easter as a powerful reminder of the triumph of life over death, hope over despair, and light over darkness.
“This sacred season reminds us that no matter how heavy our burdens or uncertain our path, there is always hope.
“Easter is a symbol of new beginnings. It calls on all of us to forgive, to heal, and to work together to build a society rooted in love, equity, and mutual respect.” Hon. Ibe said.
Known for his long-standing commitment to social welfare and his ongoing work in mental health advocacy through the Balancing Pains and Gains series, Hon. Ibe used the occasion to encourage Nigerians to be more attentive to the emotional and psychological needs of others.
“Let this be a time to reach out to someone, lend a hand, offer a kind word, and support one another. The message of Easter is love in action.” He added.
Hon. Ibe concluded his message with a prayer for peace, healing, and national rebirth.
He also called on leaders at all levels to lead with integrity and empathy, guided by the enduring values of service and sacrifice.
