Former Councillorship aspirant of Zenith Progressives Alliance(ZPA) for Akpanaja ward in Doma local government area of Nasarawa State, Joshua Jeremiah, has embraced Islam.
Joshua who embraced Islam before the Chief Imam of Doma central mosque is now to be known as Umaru Jeremiah.
According to the former councillorship aspirant of the opposition party, the decision was based on ‘personal convictions’ the Chief Imam, Mallam Yahaya Adamu who welcomes him to Islam enjoined him to be a good ambassador of his new found religion.
He prayed that Umaru would be a blessing to Islam and humanity at large.
