The governorship candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, in Rivers State, Sim Fubara has said that he was not picked by Governor, Nyesom Wike to fly the Party’s flag.
Sim, said this when the National Leadership of Grassroot Development Initiative, GDI paid him a courtesy visit in his office in Port Harcourt on Thursday.
According to him, the leaders of the party met and decided to pick him as a candidate for the party, after a rigorous process.
He commended Gov. Wike for allowing that process, adding that he would be Governor for all if elected in 2023.
He promised to consolidate the legacies of the current administration and urged members of the party to work for the success of the party in 2023.
