Dr. Hauwa Tanko Mohammed has emerged as the First female substantive rector of the Federal Polytechnic, Nasarawa, Nasarawa State.
She was presented with the appointment at the Federal Ministry of Education, Abuja on Wednesday February 5, 2025.
Until her appointment as substantive Rector, Dr. Hauwa Mohammed held the position on acting capacity.
The first female substantive Rector hails from Nasarawa Local Government Area of Nasarawa State.
Federal Polytechnic Nasarawa, FPN, was established on July 1, 1983 by the Federal Government of Nigeria to foster technological development in the society.
