Forte Care Initiative organised breast cancer awareness campaign at Lagos State university science and technology
Forte care initiative a non profit organization organise a breast cancer awareness campaign on October 31 2022 at Lagos State university science and technology isolo Lagos State.
The whole essence of the campaign is to address the increasingly rate of mortality due to breast cancer and further rescusitate the mind of young women that early detection is first step to curing and addressing this ailment and also in fulfilment of the core areas of the initiative, social development goal 3 which is well-being.
According to the organiser, they believe this awareness campaign will help in enlightening ladies and women that there is solution when you speak out about it.
The organisers were able to give various demonstrations in detecting early symptoms of the ailment and available centers for preliminary treatment.
The campaign features lectures, campaign around the institution to create massive awareness. Students in the institution were sensitized extensively and how they can be a carrier of right information in reducing the rate of mortality due to breast cancer
