The Republic of Ghana and the Republic of South Africa have signed a treaty to let the borders of both countries open for their citizens to come in and go out without any restrain.
The treaty as signed and published on October 13, 2023 will take effect from November 1, 2023.
The treaty published by Ghana Ministry of of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration says travellers are free to transit from both countries in a cumulative journey and stay of 90 days within one year without recourse to work.
