Plateau State Governor, Barrister Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to Mazi Afam Josiah Osigwe (SAN) on his election as the new President of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA).
Mutfwang, in a statement by his Director of Press and Public Affairs, Gyang Bere in Jos, congratulated the newly elected Executive members of the NBA, the Governor expressed confidence in their united approach to leading the Association’s vital role as the “conscience of the society and the hope of the common man”.
Mutfwang praised Mazi Osigwe’s leadership qualities and dedication to the legal profession. He expressed the hope that Osigwe’s extensive experience will propel the NBA to greater heights.
The Governor believes that Osigwe’s leadership qualities and vision will inspire NBA members to deliver efficient and effective legal services that will ultimately benefit the entire nation.
On behalf of the Plateau State government and its people, Governor Mutfwang offered his congratulations to Mazi Osigwe’s and his team and prayed God to grant them the wisdom and strength to provide effective and responsive leadership throughout their term.
The Governor extended his appreciation to the outgoing President, Mr Yakubu Maikyau (SAN), for his leadership and legacy of justice, fairness, and commitment to excellence during his tenure.
