Governor Uzodinma To Imo Traditional Rulers- “Protect Public Properties In Your Communities”

His Excellency, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma has charged Traditional Rulers in Imo State to take ownership public properties in their respective communities and protect them.Speaking during the presentation of the Staff of Office and Certificates of Recognition to some Traditional Rulers at Government House, Owerri, the Governor used the opportunity to announce the rehabilitation of healthcare centers in all the 305 INEC wards.

According to the Governor, the rehabilitation is worth N1 billion and will enable Ndi Imo access enhanced healthcare at the grassroots. Governor Hope Uzodimma also charged the New Ndi Eze against passive interest in the execution of public projects in their respective communities.

In line with the Shared Prosperity Policy of his Administration, Governor Uzodimma announced that he will in few days set up community development centers that will further drive development to the grassroots.“You are ambassadors of Government, be fair and just with your people “ – Uzodimma urged them.
