Earlier today, the Delta State Senior Special Assistants (SSAs) to the Governor of Delta State held their first inaugural meeting at Chadef Hotel in Asaba.
The meeting, which was well-attended by SSAs from all local governments in Delta, focused on the importance of collaboration between the SSAs and the governor to ensure the rapid development of Delta State at the grassroots level.
During the meeting, the house unanimously appointed Hon. Lucky Dikadi as the Chairman of the Delta State SSA’s Forum and Delta North Coordinator. Hon. Okakuro B. A Jagboro was appointed as the Delta Central Coordinator and Barr. Chief Mrs. Roseline Uwibiti was appointed as the Delta South Coordinator.
A highlight of the event was the unanimous passing of a vote of confidence on the Governor of Delta State, His Excellency Elder Sheriff Oborevwori JP, for his exceptional leadership and developmental achievements since assuming office.
The meeting was adjourned to a later date to allow for the addition of more executive members to the Delta SSA’s Forum leadership and to accommodate more attendees.
