The speaker of the House of Representatives Rep.Femi Gbajabiamila few hours ago received members of Nigerian Communication Commission NCC led by the Executive Vice Chairman, Prof. Umar Danbatta.
The speaker, while noting the trajectory of Nigeria’s population growth vis-à-vis security concerns for active unregistered SIM cards,assured the commission of the House’s support through adequate funding and infrastructure to accommodate the population.
Vice chairman NCC,in his response noted that the commission has made Lagos state on its own and has licensed infrastructure companies to each Geo political zone and hope to increase the number in the near future to capture the target 30,000 kilimotres of more fibres before the end of the project.
