The students of Howells Internationally School Ikenegbu Owerri paid a courtesy call on the Imo State House of Assembly IMHA at the Assembly Complex Owerri.
Speaking with 9News Nigeria live at the hallow chamber of the IMHA complex, the proprietress of the school hinted that her pupils came for an official excursion study to familiarise with the activities of the second tier of government which is IMHA.
Authoritatively, 9News Nigeria reports that the pupils and teachers of Howells int’l school Owerri turned up in their numbers at the visit to familiarize with the legislative arm of government in the state.
Their visit to IMHA gave the pupils the ample opportunity to witness the proceedings of legislation by the Honourable members of IMHA in the hallow chamber and also interacted with some principal officers of the 10th House, 3rd Assembly, Imo State House of Assembly IMHA as 9News Nigeria reports.
The pupils also took their time to tour round the Assembly premises, observed the proceedings of legislation and also witnessed the plenary session where the IMHA Honourable members presented some motions and bills under the speaker of the house, Rt Hon CHIKE OLEMGBE and his co Honourable members of the House.
The proprietress of the school, Mrs Joy Mbachu told our correspondent in simple terms that the visit of Howells International school to IMHA was targetted at familiarisation, special presentation and interactions with some officials of the legislative arm of government.

The proprietress, Mrs Joy, however expressed happiness for the disciplinary conduct of her pupils and some school staff who accompanied the pupils throughout the visit while thanking His Excellency Gov Hope Uzodinma for such a wonderful renovation and upgrade of the IMHA complex by his Shared Prosperity administration.
Mrs Joy also added that it was an official scheduled by the school authority to visit Imo House of Assembly to familiarize her students on practical civic Education.
