Grammy award-winning Nigerian Singer, Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, has made startling revelation about the alternative paths of his life might have taken If he had not pursued a career in music.
In a candid interaction with a fan, Burna Boy says he could have ended up as a oil thief, a fraudster, a suicide bomber, a basketball player or even a prostitute.
“There are many options”, he said “I could be stealing oil, I could be playing basketball, I could be a fraudster, a suicide bomber, anything – including a prostitute”

The singer, often outspoken about his rough upbringing and life experiences before fame, suggested that music provided him with an escape from path that could have led to destruction.
Burma Boy made history as the first African artist to debut a song on the Hot 100 in five conservative year – 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025.
Burna Boy continues to set records internationally.

His latest collaboration with American rapper Gunna, WGFT, from the album The Last Wun, debuted at number 96 on the U.S BillBoard Hot 100 this week.
