One thing that makes a leader outstanding is the show of appreciation no matter the circumstance and how little the services must have been. Gov. Hope Uzodimma like every other grateful individual has again extended his warmth and sincere appreciation to Imolites, religious and civil organizations as well as security agencies for their support and encouragement during the security crisis in the State.

This is to show that the administration of Gov. Hope Uzodimma is divine and one that appeals to all and sundry. Hence, the show of solidarity in a time when the opposition could have had their field day but Imolites and other groups in the State proved that they are with the Sate Government all the way.

Such show of concern is uncommon and can only be enjoyed by an administration that is well accepted by the people and this is why Gov. Hope Uzodimma could not hide his appreciation during the Imo Stakeholders meeting in Owerri, where he used the opportunity to make bare his mind and say thank you to Imolites.

It is of utmost importance to note that Imolites exhibited a high sense of maturity and understanding during the security crisis which formed the basis of the Government’s efforts in tackling the situation rather than being manipulated to condemn and distract the Government as desired by the opposition.

In his words, Gov. Hope Uzodimma said”…Many of you courageously came out to condemn the mindless brigandage, I thank you.”

The security personnel were not left out as the Governor attributes the peace enjoyed in Imo State to the supreme sacrifice made by the security operatives and extolled their gallantry approach towards the situation.

The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) has been commended for the laudable prayer session it organized for peace in the state and this brought together Imolites as they cried to God in one accord and today, we are enjoying the answered prayers.

With the recent Improvement of governance in imo state, the people are saying that it is obvious Gov. Hope Uzodimma is a man who appreciates the efforts of others and understands the need for the people to become part of his administration as no man has ever succeeded in doing things alone including governance.

Imo is indeed moving on. What do you think?
