The Majority Leader IMHA Rt Hon Kanayo Onyemaechi has call for celebration of his principal and Governor of Imo State Nigeria, His Excellency Governor Hope Uzodinma on his second term Inauguration and swearing in.
Rt Hon Onyemaechi made this call while speaking with Journalists in Owerri on the preparation for the upcoming Inauguration and swearing-in of Governor Hope Uzodinma and Deputy Governor Lady Chinyere Ekomaru.
Majority Leader Onyemaechi said every preparation for the event is set as the inauguration team has put in place and that Imo people are happily ready to welcome the Governor back- to -back to the seat of administration of the state.
He said the choice of Governor Hope Uzodinma to have a woman as his Deputy Governor is a record of more prosperity coming in to Imo state.
Accordingly, a woman Deputy Governor will definitely speak the mind of Imo women to capture the affirmative quota of women inclusivity in governance, Onyemaechi hinted.
As member representing Owerri West in the House of Assembly, Onyemaechi has called on his constituents to embrace this new normal the Governor has brought. He further emphasized on the giant strides recorded by the shared prosperity administration under His Excellency Hope Uzodinma and reassured Imolites of massive developments in this second tenure.
Hon Onyemaechi added that the cooperation of his Honourable Colleagues in the IMHA with Governor Uzodinma will ever remain cordial and supportive while making legislations that will aid the Governor to govern the state above the expected end.
He therefore call for understanding, calm, peace and harmony in support of Governor Uzodinma’s Inauguration of his second tenure which will actually bring governance and the charter of equity close to the three senatorial zones accordingly as embedded into law.
