The Planned Victory Rally and the Universal Health Care launch scheduled to hold in Imo state Nigeria are shifted to a later date to be communicated.

Recall that the All Progressives Congress APC party have scheduled to launch out a post election victory march today Tuesday as earlier communicated through this medium.

We wish to also let our readers know the latest developments of the scheduled events by Imo state government.

Our correspodent in Imo reports that both events have been cancelled by both the All Progressives Congress party and the state government.

The causes of the cancellations were not told but 9News Nigeria gathered that such events will no longer hold as scheduled.

While regretting the inconveniences the change in date will cause the state publicity department of APC party has pleaded with the party members to bear with Imo APC.

On the other hand, the already scheduled health launch in Imo was earlier reported by 9News Nigeria.

But the change in schedule came as a result of emergency from Imo state government to step down events to a later date pending when the governor of the state will be disposed to attend the functions.

GOVERNOR HOPE UZODINMA was set to aunch a universal health care coverage in Imo state today but was shifted to a date yet to be communicated to the press.

His Excellency, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodinma has continued to demonstrate his love for a functional State systems in the interest of Imolites as he is set to launch the “ACCESS TO CARE” for a Universal Health Coverage (UHC) in Imo State.

The Scheme which is a program under the Imo State Health Insurance Agency (ISHIA) is designed to offer health insurance for the Imo State public servants on one part and then, to the over 66,000 vulnerable enrollee under the Basic Health Care Provision Fund (BHCPF).

Recall that during the last quarter of 2022, the Governor approved free medical care for Imo workers under the Social Health Insurance Scheme (SHIS) with the vision to providing free medical services to Imo workers at the State and LGA levels.

Under the Universal Health Coverage (UHC), which will be activated with the launching tomorrow, 28th March 2023, the State Government will be investing an initial sum of one billion naira for the scheme to kickstart in earnest.

Individuals and families can take advantage of this scheme by subscribing to applicable cover and enjoy access to a range of medical services.

This is to inform all party faithful that the victory match earlier scheduled for tuesday March 28, 2023 has been postponed. A new date to this regard shall be communicated in due cause, as we regret every inconveniences.
