Inspiring Leaders, CEOs, and Startups Unite for a Night of Empowerment and Vision

The “Inspiring Leaders, CEOs, and Startups Award and Dinner,” organized by Inspiring Youth Africa Magazine, took place at the prestigious Nicon Luxury Hotel in Abuja on Saturday, August 10, 2024.

The vibrant event brought together visionary leaders from various sectors to discuss the future and foster collaborative engagement. Inspiring Youth Africa Magazine, dedicated to empowering and protecting youth worldwide without discrimination, aims to create opportunities for meaningful dialogue between young people, leaders, and stakeholders.

In his opening address, Amb. Jeremiah Agala, CEO of Inspiring Youth Magazine, outlined the significance of the gathering. He expressed deep gratitude to his parents, family, and all attendees for their support and belief in his vision. Agala reflected on the journey that led to the event, emphasizing the influence of those around him and his early inspiration, which began in the church, where he motivated young people to envision their future potential. He shared a poignant story of his first job as a security guard in a hotel, a role that taught him valuable life lessons and ignited his passion for youth empowerment. Over the years, Agala has organized numerous transformative programs for young people, facing challenges head-on. He underscored the importance of consistency and networking in business growth and encouraged leaders, CEOs, and startups to remain steadfast in their pursuits.

Distinguished Senator Ajarigbe, represented by Barr. First Isa, also addressed the attendees, aligning with the event’s theme of inspiration. Barr. Isa emphasized the importance of resilience and persistence in business growth, urging successful individuals to share their journeys to inspire others. He encouraged attendees to remain resolute in the face of challenges.

Hajiya Kadijjah Musa, another prominent speaker, urged leaders to maintain resilience and determination in their endeavors, acknowledging the challenges that lie ahead but affirming that motivation is key to overcoming them. Dr. Oribo Dominic Okokon added that true success is measured by the impact one has on others and encouraged leaders to take responsibility for inspiring the next generation.

The youngest politician in attendance, Mr. Yusuf Rasko, captivated the audience with a call to action for youth. He urged them to actively pursue their goals, asserting that young people have the power to change the narrative, especially in Nigeria’s current economic climate.

The highlight of the evening was the presentation of awards to deserving leaders who have made significant contributions in their fields.

Among eminent honorees at the event were Distinguished Senator Ajarigbe, Chukwumezie Okolo, Dr. Hope Van, Hajiya Kadijjah Musa among others.

In the end, Amb. Agala emphasized the importance of economic empowerment, urging leaders to seek economic power as a means of ensuring they are never stranded in life. He highlighted the importance of building a community where partnerships play a crucial role. He encouraged brand building and mutual support among business owners. To further this mission, he announced the opportunity for ten attendees to participate in a one-month free Leadership and Entrepreneurial program, offered both online and in-person.

The event concluded with a strong sense of friendship and brotherhood, leaving attendees inspired and motivated to continue their journeys toward success.
