American rapper, singer and songwriter, Jason Deford popularly known as Jelly Roll has said that weed (marijuana) has helped stop him from indulging in harder drugs.
In a recent interview with Taste of Country, Jelly Roll admitted that marijuana assisted him in fighting anxiety and battling addiction.
“I think a world without weed, Jelly Roll’s drinking codeine and popping Xanax and snorting cocaine again, but a world with weed, I’ll be alright.
“This is a hot button topic, but, truly, marijuana has kept me sober.” He said.
Jelly Roll, a convicted drug dealer has launched smear campaigns against fentanyl use, advocating for the Senate Urban Affairs Committee to take action against the influx of the drug.
Jelly Roll is an American singer, rapper and songwriter.
He has once been nominated for a Grammy Award in Best New Artist category.
