The Secretary of the All Progressive Congress – APC National Caretaker Committee, Senator John James Akpanudoedehe has lampooned the eight years administration of Senator Godswill Akpabio as Governor of Akwa Ibom State now Minister of Niger Delta Affairs.
In a live discussion today on Passion FM 94.5, Uyo, Udoedehe said Akpabio failed during his tenure as Governor between 2007 to 2015.
I brought in Godswill Akpabio as Governor but his government failed Akwa Ibom people.
Refering to the insecurity, lack of any industry, Senator Akpanudoedehe, former Minister of State for FCT said the current Minister of Niger Delta Affairs performed woefully as Governor.
He said the state was so unsafe with wanton destruction of human lives without restraint, causing Akwa Ibom people to live in total fear.
“I was the voice of the oppressed and I came out to condemn and challenge that adminstration. That is why I said that I can never support his government to continue in office,” Akpanudoedehe added.
