The Deputy Governor of Oyo State, Engineer Rauf Aderemi Olaniyan has been Impeached by members of the State House of Assembly.
The lawmakers during a plenary on Monday July 18, announced that they Impeached the Deputy Governor following the recommendation of in the panel set up to investigate him.
The Deputy Governor’s impeachment was announced following the adoption of the recommendations of the report of the seven-man panel set up to investigate allegations levelled against him.
The report was read by majority leader of the House, Sirajo Adedoyin from Ogbomoso.
