The Government of Lagos State, has reiterated its firm commitment to investing in human capital development, in order to enhance governance and service delivery.
Lagos State Commissioner for Establishments and Training, Afolabi Ayantayo, made the assertion at a training programme held at the Public Service Staff Development Centre, Magodo.
Speaking at the training, Ayantayo, emphasised that the programme reflected the state government’s commitment to continuous capacity development and workforce enhancement.
While asserting that the programme was timely and strategic, he highlighted the significant strides made by the Lagos State Government in digital transformation, including the automation of government processes and deployment of smart solutions across various sectors.
He therefore stressed the need for participants and civil servants to integrate digital knowledge into their daily responsibilities to ensure that the training programmes have a meaningful impact.
“Citizens’ expectations have changed as they demand efficiency. This is because we live in a time where technology is reshaping every aspect of our personal and professional lives. The digital revolution has changed the way we work and deliver services.
“This training is designed to expose participants to digital transformation tools and innovative approaches to service delivery,” Ayantayo said.
