The State Returning Officer, Barr. Blessing, officially declared Hon. Dagidi Andaye as the sole candidate and returned him unopposed. Highlighting his long-standing commitment and the profound ability to mobilize the grassroots, leaders of the party who were visibly seen excited applauded his victory and attributed it to his impeccable character and significant contributions to the party. They maintained that Hon. Dagidi Andaye’s nomination stands as a testament to his proven leadership and extensive experience within the party.

The Governor has shown his unwavering commitment towards the growth and stability of the party in the State”. The candidate also commended the state party chairman, Chief Kingsley Esiso, and the entire party leadership in Bomadi Local Government Area for their role in throwing him up as the consensus Chairmanship candidate of the party in Bomadi LGA.
Andaye didn’t forget those who stood by him during the consultation period. Dr. Denghan Macaulay, Hon. Pius Labo (DG Campaign Council), Elder Allen Egbegi, Dr. Barry Gbe (Economic Adviser SA to Gov Oborevwori), Hon.
