ON LGA VISIT: NKWERE LEADERS CHARGED TO SET UP TECHNICAL COMMITTEE TO PLAN FOR THEIR DEVELOPMENT AND YOUTH EMPOWERMENT

Imo state governor His Excellency Senator Hope Uzodinma has charged politicial stakeholders and leaders of NKWERE nation to join hands and profer solution to improve and develope their area.
9News Nigeria Imo government house correspondent reports that GOVERNOR UZODIMMA made this statement on a courtesy visit by NKWERE people who trooped en-masse to visit him at Government house Owerri.
While addressing the NKWERE LEADERS, the governor however MANDATED NKWERE LEADERS TO SET UP A TECHNICAL COMMITTEE FOR A DEVELOPMENT PLAN SUITABLE TO IMPROVE NKWERE NATION.
GOVERNOR Uzodinma futher COMMENDED NKWERE YOUTHS FOR TAKING CHARGE OF THE SECURITY OF THEIR COMMUNITIES to make the area habitable and safe for Development.
His Excellency, Senator Hope Uzodinma in his usual interface with the Nkwere Local Government at the Exco Chamber, mandated the leadership and stakeholders of Nkwere Local Government Area, to set up a technical committee to identify a development plan suitable for the area.

Meanwhile, the governor reassured his passion to serve Imo people stating that service to the people is the principal policy in his mind.
He had earlier called on the grassroot leaders to replicate the 3R initiative in their communities to better the rural areas and increase the followership of APC.
In his words, “I knelt down and swore to God in a covenant that if He makes me the Governor of Imo State, i will use it for the betterment of the people and not for myself” Uzodimma stated.
The number one citizen also commended Nkwere Youths for taking charge of the security of their communities mostly on their positive impact during the #ENDSARS, and #Unknown Gunmen saga in the state.
“They were there during #ENDSARS, during #Unknown Gunmen and they secured their communities” Uzodimma stated.
In his response, the Leader of the Nkwere Local Government Stakeholders, Nze Edwin Asugha stated that the people of Nkwere LGA have not come to beg the Governor but to pledge their total support to his administration which he said is human friendly.
He added that one problem of politicians is the lack of political will, “but that he have found out that Uzodinma has the zeal and the will to serve Imo people.
One of the leaders, Nze Chidi Nwogu in his speech commended the Governor for establishing quality projects all over the state and working towards making Imo stare a safe haven.
