The Honourable Commissioner for Agriculture and Food Security in Imo State, Chief (Hon.) Sir Longers Nzenwata Anyanwu, has congratulated former Governor of Imo State, His Excellency, Chief Dr. Ikedi Godson Ohakim, CON, GSSI, on the occasion of his birthday.
In a goodwill statement issued on Tuesday, Anyanwu, on behalf of his family and in his personal capacity, celebrated the former governor for his remarkable contributions to the growth and development of Imo State and Nigeria.
The Commissioner commended Ohakim’s leadership, statesmanship, and unwavering commitment to the welfare of the people, noting that his enduring legacy of purposeful governance remains a shining example for present and future leaders.
According to Anyanwu, the former governor’s dedication to public service and the advancement of Imo State has continued to earn him admiration and respect across the country.
“Your tenure in public office was marked by vision, courage, and an unwavering commitment to the development of Imo State and Nigeria.” He said.
He prayed that God would grant Ohakim continued good health, greater wisdom, renewed strength, and many more years of impactful service to Imo State and Nigeria.
The Commissioner also wished the former governor peace, and even greater accomplishments in the years ahead, while extending his heartfelt congratulations and best wishes for a memorable birthday celebration.
