The frontline governorship candidate in Abia state, Chief Mascot Uzor Kalu of the Action Peoples Party (APP), has reassured the people of Ikwuano of his intentions to open up the connectivity roads of the area linking to other parts of the state and the neighboring states of Akwa Ibom and Cross River.
The APP governorship candidate, who had earlier identified the economic potentials of Ikwuano as a polycentric area in the course of his campaign visit last year, reiterated the importance of opening up the inter-connectivity roads of the area and other parts of Abia state, noting that he understands the economic importance of such roads to the people.
In the company of his running mate, Prof. Osondu Akoma, Chief Kalu, and the APP campaign train visited two INEC wards at Ikwuano yesterday: Oloko wards 1 and 2 in Ahaba Oloko and Ntoro Nchara communities, respectively.
The Ikwuano L.G.A. has a road network connecting to Isiala Ngwa North, Bende, and Arochukwu, and other roads connecting to Akwa Ibom and Cross River.
