MONARCHS in Mbaise bloc in Imo state Nigeria trooped out en-masse to cancel the oat that was falsely taken during the Emeka IHEDIOHA’s administration targetted at forcefully to vote the only GOVERNOR from the Mbaise extraction come 2023 Elections.
It was an interesting sight at the mid hours of Tuesday 17-08-2021 at Ahiara junction where Ndi Eze Mbaise converged to reverse libations poured against Mbaise sons and daughters supporting any governor that is not of Mbaise extraction.
While speaking with 9News Nigeria, the MONARCHS ENJOINED every Mbaise sons and daughters to feel free to exercise their franchise as the next election draws near.
However, the MONARCHS have alleged that the OUTED PDP ADMINISTRATION THREATENED TO DETHRONE them without any recourse to the rights of the traditional rulers to vote their preferred candidates.
Recall that after the 2019 general election that had Chief Emeka IHEDIOHA declared the winner of Imo governorship election, a cross-section of Traditional rulers in Mbaise gathered at Ahiara JUNCTION and poured libations against any Mbaise indigene who would kick against the administration of Emeka Ihedioha.
It was gathered that the outed PDP regime led by chief Emeka Ihedioha threatened to dethrone any traditional ruler of Mbaise extraction who fails to partake in pouring libations against any Mbaise son nor daughter who wouldn’t support his unpopular administration, a development which many imolites described as Draconian and irresponsible.
At the same Ahiara junction, the MONARCHS converged to reverse the libations done under duress were
Eze Nwaturuocha (Chairman Aboh Mbaise Council of Traditional Rulers), Eze Sabi Nwaneche(Chairman Ahiazu) and Eze Osita Nwokocha Chairman Ezinihitte). The Landlord Eze of Nnarambia, HRH Onyekwere, Eze Akaraka, Eze Uwahemu, Eze Dom Okoro, Eze Dr Okoronko and a host of others who came to witness the historic reversal of the clannishly induced libations that restrained people of Mbaise from having different political associations and believe outside of PDP.
Little wonder the reasons behind such a demonic oat just in the name of the political election but the MONARCHS however thanked God for the gift of GOVERNOR Hope Uzodinma who they said is working to Improve imo state.
The oat was nullified and Mbaise land is free.
