NDE seeks collaboration with Indian High Commission in job creation, skills acquisition for unemployed Nigerians

The National Directorate of Employment, NDE, has sought for collaboration with Indian High Commission in job creation and skills acquisition training for unemployed Nigerian youths.

Mr Silas Ali Agara, the Director- General of the NDE made this known when he paid a courtesy visit to the Indian High Commissioner to Nigeria, Shri G. Balasubramanian.

This, Àgara said is inline with the Renewed Hope agenda of the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu -led administratiion which seeks to address unemployment and empower young Nigerians with practical skills.

Responding, Ambassador Shri G. Balasubramanian lauded NDE’s ongoing efforts in job creation and emphasized the importance of engaging youth in building a better society.

The collaboration is expected to lead to a practical roadmap that will facilitate stronger cooperation between Nigeria and India in driving job creation and skills acquisition programmes for the nation’s youth.
