It was a joyful moment at Sam Mbakwe Exco Chamber, Imo State Government House Owerri where the APC winner of the Ngor Okpala Bye- Election was officially presented to the people by GOVERNOR Hope Uzodinma.
His Excellency, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodinma, Monday 28-02-2022 received the Ngor Okpala people on a solidarity visit and presentation of the winner of the Imo State House of Assembly Bye-Election, Hon. Blyden Amajirionwu at the Sam Mbakwe Chamber, Government House, Owerri.
9News Nigeria Owerri gathered that the revered Chamber was indeed heated up by excited men and women of Ngor-Okpala for Governor Hope Uzodimma, creating the enabling environment to exercise their civic rights for their liberation.
His Excellency, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodinma in his address expressed his joy to God for harkening to the supplications of the reasonable people of Ngor-Okpala.
Governor Uzodinma stated that the labour of the people of Ngor-Okpala will not be in vain. He added, “I will send an executive bill to the Imo State House of Assembly to add Ngor Okpala to ISOPADEC.”
The Governor charged the leaders of Ngor-Okpala to remain united and revisit him with a comprehensive development plan for Ngor-Okpala. He added, “with the new commitment and passion, I see a new Ngor-Okpala”.
The leader of the delegation, High Chief T.O. Ekechi commended the Governor for being a true father to the party and availing the enabling environment for the liberation of the age-long imposed Ngor Okpala people.
