From Princely Onyenwe, Abuja
The appiontment of the newest Chairman of Revenue Mobilization Allocation and Fiscal Commission, Shehu Bello has continued to raise alot of tensions across the lengths and breaths of the country.
This is because of the pressing situation arrising in the Nigerian Political Atmosphere where the three presidential candidates for the upcoming 2023 election are attracting zonal sympathy.
9News Nigeria reports that Bola Tinubu has top the lead in the West while Atiku Abubakar leads in the south. The Peter Obi and Datti presidential revolution has seriously dominated the south and heavily attracting Voter’s sympathy across the globe.
However, the sharing method applied in the NIGERIAN Political circle is said to be favourable to the North while the South and the west stand to loose out.
Importantly those from the South East are not happy about the level of disenfranchisement bedevilling their zone. They have several times blamed their representatives at the center of Government for not improving their zone and taking their turn in the center of Government.
While Speaking with our correspodent, the peter Obi and Datti presidential revolution is high compare to that of the other contenders across zones. But regrettedly we gathered that the leaders are the actual cause of the decay sorrounding the zone.
Nigerian are keen to have a New crop of leaders across the zones particularly as it affects the hard times beclouding the masses.
There is high rise of market commodities, building materials, petroleum products, wears, cosmetics, provisions, medication, transportation and many more. But the way the leaders are handling issues is as if they are insensitive of the plights of the people.
Several appointments have gone to the Northern group while the southern hemisphere is lacking.
This has affected the negative reactions against the President Muhammadu Buhari’s approval of Chairman Revenue Mobilization Allocation and Fiscal Commission to a Northerner.
Despite all, the PRESIDENT presided over Federal Executive Council Meeting preceded by Swearing-In of Shehu Mohammed Bello as Chairman Revenue Mobilization Allocation and Fiscal Commission in Abuja on 17th Aug 2022.
Recall that the Senate on Tuesday confirmed the appointment of Shehu Mohammed Bello as the new Chairman, Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC).
The confirmation of Bello followed the consideration of the report by the Senate’s Committee on National Planning and Economic Affairs, which was presented by its Chairman, Senator Olubunmi Adetunmbi.
Adetunmbi, while presenting the report, said, ‘’From the available documents and the presentation made to the committee, the nominee satisfied the requirement for appointment as the chairman of the commission.
