The visiting United States Secretary of states, Mr. John Kerry had quoted the late Sarduana of Sokoto, Ahmadu Bello in one of his tweets regarding his activities in Nigeria.
The Secretary, who has been on African trips arrived Nigeria today and visited Sokoto state.

Kerry, was given a Royal Reception at the palace of the Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Sa’ad Abubakar.

Mr. Kerry had tweeted on his twitter account about the important words of the late Sarduana  of Sokoto which read “Impt words to remember today from Ahmadu Bello – “It is by understanding our differences that we can build unity.”

He also tweeted on the importance of women education. “When women are educated & more empowered, societies are more productive, more democratic, more inclusive & more prosperous.” tweeted Mr. Kerry.

The Secretary also posted a tweet which highlighted on carrying every body along as a way to build and work together to combat terrorism.

“By empowering & engaging citizens we can build strong, resilient communities that work together to combat terrorism”

Meanwhile, many Nigerians responded to Mr. Kerry’s tweets  in defiance to the purported hidden agenda of the American Secretary of states in which some exerted and implied that the secretary of states’s visit was to reaffirm the Obama administration’s unflinching support for the North and to encourage them in their effort to marginalize the rest of Nigeria and if possible islamize the country.
