Nigerians have suggested that the government should approve the use of Cowitter platform in the place of Twitter since the micro-blog has been banned in Nigeria.
A social media user used his Twitter handle to make the satirical suggestion and also posted a Cowitter logo that he has already designed in case the government approves the alternative platform.
If it comes into use, instead of saying Tweet, you can say Coweet which sounds even better and more localised with Nigeria.
Another Twitter user also made same suggestion to replace all social media platforms with the ones having Cow prefixes.
The Federal Government of Nigeria had banned Twitter usage in Nigeria after the micro-blogging website deleted President Buhari’s tweet that they considered a genocidal threat against the South-East people.
