The meeting of APC stakeholders in Owerri West local government area of Imo state was held few hours ago at Full Moon HOTEL OWERRI targeted to ensure unity among leaders of owerri west APC and their followership.
In the meeting, STAKEHOLDERS RESOLVED TO SPEAK IN ONE VOICE and make APC the pride of Owerri West.
However, It was a gathering of who is who in owerri -west APC yesterday 27th May, 2021 as the party held its leadership meeting.
Speaking at the occasion, a lawyer per excellence and a POLITICIANS of people’s choice, Hon. Barr Gas Amadi maintained that by virtue of current position as majority leader, Rt Hon Kanayo Onyemaechi should be declared the apex leader of the party in owerri west.
The former lawmaker described Hon Onyemaechi as a humble leader whose great leadership skills cannot be underestimated.
Commodore Ogechi Osuagwu stated that owerri -west must have reasons to rejoice considering the exalted position of their son, Hon Kanayo Onyemaechi and as number six citizen of the state, he should automatically become the Apex leader of owerri -west APC.
Hon Noble Atulegwu, Barr B. C Nzimako, Hon Kennedy Zanders, Hon Mrs Onyinye Azu, who all spoke at the event endorsed the decision and urged the majority leader to lead the party aright.
They harped on the need to always speak in one voice in critical issues affecting owerri -west so as to move the LGA to an enviable height .
The majority leader, IMHA, Rt. Hon Kanayo Onyemaechi thanked the leadership of owerri -west APC for their decision and pledged not to disappoint them.
The lawmaker quickly called for a harmonious relationship among party leaders which will make APC formidable in the LGA and further informed them of the need to urgently present the
5 man steering committee members that will represent the LGA in federal constituency.
