The Plateau State Government has successfully secured funding for remodeling and reconstruction of the Jos Abattoir under the Livestock Productivity and Resilience Support (LPRES) project.
Following strategic engagements in Abuja, Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang has approved the immediate commencement of the project, set to break ground in February 2025.
This initiative aims to modernize the livestock value chain, enhance food safety, and create economic opportunities for farmers and butchers, aligning with the administration’s vision for more productive and sustainable agricultural sector.
