This was disclosed in a statement Published through his Facebook account, stating that his life is in danger as he describes his fear:
“MY LIVE IS IN DANGER!!”
“While at the St. Mary’s Church Ukpo yesterday for the Igwe’s Ofala Thanksgiving Service, I went to my car to get something and surprisingly, a police officer with a face mask bearing SARS approached me and said excuse me sir, can I see you? I told him NO that the church service was still on. I tried to get back inside the church and he held my belt from the back and I got annoyed and pulled out his hand and rushed back inside the church.”
“While in the church, my driver called me to inform me that they were actually three officers and that from the phone calls they were making, that they actually came to arrest me. I then asked him to off the ignition and go home and leave the car there. I quickly alerted the Igwe who asked me to join him in his car and we both left the church to his house. Surprisingly, they followed me and the Igwe to his palace almost coming to his private residence but was stopped by the Igwe’s orderly. They went and stayed at the both entrances to the palace and also stationed 4 officers to keep watch over my car still parked at the church premises.”
“When my Uncle – Chief Andrew Mordili discovered that they came from Zone 13 as he recognized the leader of the team as the Admin officer of Zone 13, he called the AIG Mohammed DanMallam to find out who sent them and the AIG Mohammed DanMallam ordered the men to arrest him and that was my last communication with him.”
“I was reliably informed by a police officer that Prince Dr Emeka Eze and Mr Ifeanyi Omeokachie were the ones using AIG Mohammed DanMallam to intimidate me as they failed to stop me from participating at the 2020 Ofala through their paid agent- Mr Chike Eze who attacked me on Friday morning poured white paints on me and inflicted bodily injury on me . I also observed that Mr. Chigozie Ilokolobia- the driver of Mr Ifeanyi Omeokachie was stationed at the scene to take pictures of me while the failed arrest will be going on. Their clear intention was to publicly arrest and disgrace me in the church to the delight of Prince Dr. Emeka Eze who was acting funny since the service commenced. I am currently in the Igwe’s private residence while the team sent to arrest me are still keeping vigil at the various locations of the palace. However, when AIG Mohammed DanMallam who is working for Prince Dr Emeka Eze arrested me in September 2020, I was taken to court and was granted bail on Sept 23, 2020 and still on bail. Also, I filled a fundamental human Rights suit against him and his team at the Neni high court which is still pending and also petitioned to the IG’s office and that of the police service commission.”
” I recalled that AIG Mohammed DanMallam told me during my first arrest that he will kill me and tag me armed robber and that nothing will happen. My life is therefore not safe in the hands of officers of zone 13 given my first experience with them. AIG Mohammed DanMallam have abandon his work to be playing Community politics of Ukpo instead of his work as AIG”.
