No fewer than 40 special detectives have intensified search for arrest of Governor Abba Yusuf’s spokesperson Sanusi Bature on the order of Inspector General of Police Kayode Egbetokun.
The men were deployed from Abuja to arrest Bature on the instruction of the acting chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC.
Abdullahi Ganduje had petitioned the IGP over the controversy surrounding his suspension from his Ward in Dawaki-Tofa Local Government of the State, accusing the governor’s spokesperson of orchestrating the political downfalls.
The IGP Special Force has mounted a dragnet for Sanusi Bature’s arrest in the last two weeks despite the order of the court restraining the IGP, DSS, CP and other security agencies from arresting or harassing the governor’s spokesperson.
