Nigerian musician, David Adeleke, better known as Davido, has denied reports quoting him as saying that his father will buy the whole Igbo land so the Igbos will stop the noise about Biafra.
The reports went viral during the weekend where the “IF” crooner was quoted as also describing Igbos as stupid people.
The tweet read, “My father will just buy off the whole Igboland and their stupid biafra will stop, stupid Igbos.”
The Omo baba lowo who was confronted by a twitter user, denied making such comment.
The twitter user asked, “iamDavido, this is what have been trending on social media that you said, can you confirm it please?”
In response, Davido said, “[I] would never make such statement, tell them to try again.”
